Jeremiah 29:11~ Psalm 27:4 ~ Ephesians 1:3 ~ 3 John 2

Jeremia= h 29: 11
¹¹ For I know the th= oughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil= , to give you an expected end.

Psalm 27: 4
⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that wi= ll I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my li= fe, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.<= /span>

Ephesians 1: 3

3&nb= sp; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

3 John 1
² Beloved, I wish above all things that thou ma= yest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Now that we have entered into a “New Year̶= 1;, it’s time to look at what the future holds. We don’t have to turn to any psychic medians, horoscopes but we can look in God’s Holy word . Everything we need is in the Word of God!

Jeremiah wrote (Jeremia= h 29:11)
¹¹ = ; For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith= the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.=

And brother Paul summed it all = up in 3 John= 1
² = ; Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as = thy soul prospereth.

As we take a quick look at the scriptures I have given this morning, I want you to keep our theme this year in mind “Blessings Gal= ore in 2004”

Briefly I want to highlight 3 kinds of blessings which are God’s will for his saints according to <= b>3 John 1

1.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Material Prosperity

2.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Bodily healings and health

3.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Soul Salvation

The a= postle Paul simply echoes what Jeremiah said in chapter 29.

There is a cause and ef= fect system. The cause is our blessings Galore the Lord will bestow upon u= s and the effect should be our response to His blessing… In return we should

Worship, Honor and Praise God!

1.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Worship ~ Wor= ship Him because God is our creator and we have been called to “Worship Hi= m in Spirit and in Truth”

2.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Honor ~ Hono= r Him in o= ur daily walk with Him. We should walk in a life of victory.&nb= sp; For the greater is in u= s and as we walk in our position in grace in Christ Jesus we will recognize we ar= e a “Blessed” People, a “Chosen” People, Called to be H= oly and Redeemed of the Lord.

3.&n= bsp; = ; &n= bsp; Praise ~ Praise Him because we have been commanded in all things give thanks f= or this is the will of God in Christ Jesus conc= erning us.

So What does the “Future” hold, I can not tell you what will be written on every calendar day that is ahead of us, but the one thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I SEEK after (We’ve got to continue to Seek Him, Press into H= im in 2004) That I may dwell in the house of the = Lord all the day of my life! We mu= st dwell in HIS house, His Presence ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES! <= /o:p>

We can have the assurance that if we will continue to walk in the light of His word and not lean on our own understanding He will DIRECT our paths!

There are some things about tomorrow, I don’t seem to understand… there we things about 2003 I didn’t and still don’t understand, but God holds our every tomorrow and He will hold our hands.<= /p>

Hold on to his Blessing promises, we can only receive his promises as we are obedient to the conditions of those promises

REMEMBER: To look to the Hills from whence c= ometh our HELP….. Where does our help comes from…. Not from the hills but from the on= e who made the Hills….

Look unto Jesus for HE IS THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH!
